Spencer Davis brings Group General Counsel expertise, having spent more than 20 years advising global businesses across multiple sectors. Ensuring that legal advice is aligned with the Group’s strategy and objectives, he provides expert, pragmatic and strategic legal advice to the Board and to management. He is a trusted advisor for Lifezone Metals in supporting its growth and execution of operational strategy, helping to drive scale.
Spencer is licensed to practice in England & Wales, United States (NY) and the EU (Ireland), with an MBA from London Business School. He has worked in fast-paced, hyper-growth businesses, applying legal expertise to ensure that advice and recommendations are provided within a commercial context.
He has experience also as Group Company Secretary (ACIS) with oversight of boards and group committees, responsible for ethics, regulatory matters and business conduct. He is skilled at complex cross-border transactions, multi-jurisdictional M&A and integration, risk and governance, licensing and franchising matters, manufacturing and logistics, intellectual property rights, technology, and information security.
Prior to joining Lifezone Metals, Spencer held the role of Group General Counsel at DMGT plc, a multi-£bn FTSE listed business that manages a diverse, global portfolio of companies, across sectors and 30+ countries. He was also Chief Legal Officer at a global $bn technology business, pending-IPO.
